Dedication
The Voodoo Blues Band has been the house band for the weekly Sunday jam session at Hammerstone’s in historic Soulard for over 10 years running. Although many wonderful musicians have been in the band during that time, none has been more special than our fallen colleague, St. Louis blues guitar legend Bennie Smith. Bennie was a regular member of the band for many, many years, and served as a mentor and inspiration to us all. It was truly an honor to play with him, and we will miss him terribly. The Voodoo Blues Band would like to dedicate this CD to Bennie. Here’s to you, Bennie--the “Master of the Stratocaster”!

Special Thanks
The band would like to extend their thanks to Denny & Lynn Hammerstone, owners of Hammerstone’s in the historic Soulard district of St. Louis, where the band plays every Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.—without you guys, there would be no Voodoo Blues! We also would like to thank the various professionals who helped us with this CD—Tim, Steve and Sara, great job! Also, a special nod goes to Randy Roberts and the use of his studio in the mixing of the disc. Special kudos to Dave Beardsley at StlBlues.net, who designed our killer website! The band gives a special recognition to Raul, who spent countless hours obsessing over this project, and who wrote several of the songs, and who leads the band with style and verve—thanks. Also, our various “sit-ins” on the Hammerstone’s gigs—you guys keep us on our toes. And finally, to our wonderful group of faithful, repeat fans who fill the seats Sunday after Sunday. We love you guys!
